OpenManage [Integration for VMware vCenter] helped [our] team centralize the management of our dell devices such as Dell Switches and Dell ESXi hosts and Servers. By the help of this portal we can see and monitor all our deployed devices across our branches. It help us to oversee deployed servers and see the device details.
  • Monitoring all deployed dell devices
  • Update your devices firmware thru this platform
  • Centralized management of the enrolled devices
  • Response time is slowed down when too many devices are enrolled
  • User management to allow or limit access per user
  • Push down approach update to all enroll or selected devices
When you start deploying dell servers that caters VMWares, [OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter] is very useful, aside from your main monitoring system, this platforms does the job well. [Its] centralized management of VMWare devices including dell switches, dell storage such as SAN. By this you can group devices or set of devices per branches so you can monitor outages, down time of a device.
  • Centralized Management
  • Monitoring devices
  • This is very useful if you have dell products
  • Not suitable for other vendor

We use it to Simplify and automate management of servers across our network here in Denver. It allows us to much more easily manage the hardware and automate things to prevent downtime and constant maintenance, which helps give us better uptime, as well as provide our staff with a bit more time to work on other projects.
  • manage full server infrastructure
  • virtualization
  • system alerts and updates
  • GUI
  • user friendly
  • single sign-on capabilities
  • open source
  • better online chat support for help with issues
It's great if you have an environment or infrastructure layout that contains a number of servers and storage devices, either on-prem, in the cloud, or virtualized. This is a very comprehensive system that gives you a birds-eye view into the performance and specs of your system, and where it might be liable to break.
  • less staff time spent managing servers
  • better uptime due to alerts
  • reliability
I have never used either of the two above-listed competitors, but we have sold both of them where customers find them to be a better fit. I've gotten to know the products fairly well this way, despite never using them myself. I think they're pretty similar. Zerto is definitely an up-and-comer who is making some pretty big waves in this place.
